• The name “432” comes from the S20 engine configuration, i.e. “4 valves, 3 carburetors, and 2 camshafts.”
• The standard equipment included limited slip differential and luxurious magnesium wheels appropriate for the flagship model.
• The sticker price was 1.85 million yen that was almost double of the base Z-car.

On October 18, 1969 Nissan announced the upcoming launch of the Fairlady Z S30 series.
