Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin "Climbing Nevado Ojos del Salado" '2017
Metzeler Motorcycle Tyres partnered with Honda to set some World Records climbing the Nevado Ojos del Salado volcano, at the border between Argentina and Chile, the highest volcano in the world, and to promote its Metzeler MC 360 range of tyres. The records established with the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin were:
- From zero to 5900 metres above the sea level in less than 24 hours;
- 5960 metres as maximum height for a twin-cylinder motorcycle.
